Program Details

You don’t need any special skills to join this program.

We will accommodate you in a volunteer house ( called Green House). It is located about 5 km from the city center and is very close to the sites where you will be working. It is fully equipped for comfortable living, with clean air-conditioned bedrooms, a cozy living room, a modern kitchen, and relaxing common areas. The entire house is covered with Wi-Fi internet. You will share a room with other international volunteers of the same gender. During your free time, you can also study or work remotely from the house. Our chef will provide you with daily meals from Monday through Saturday morning. We will provide volunteer vehicles to transport you to your work locations.

Our support team members are fluent in English. They will pick you up at the airport upon your arrival, and provide an orientation and training program to help you adjust comfortably to your new environment. Throughout your time in the program, they will assist you in planning your work and accompany you to the work sites to carry out your volunteer activities. We will teach you some basic Vietnamese words and phrases so you can communicate with the locals. You will also have the chance to learn how to cook some Vietnamese dishes with our chef. Occasionally, we organize group dinners with our volunteers and staff, followed by karaoke sessions—a very popular form of entertainment in Vietnam. At the end of the program, you will receive a "Certificate of Participation" and a souvenir gift as a token of appreciation

Activities & Shift

On a daily basis, you will work alongside local social workers at orphanages and social protection centers to baby care, care for infants, the elderly, and people with disabilities. You will teach English and play with young children, as well as organize outdoor activities for both children and the elderly, such as park visits, swimming trips, and visits to Buddhist temples. Your weekly work schedule will be from Monday to Friday morning, and you will have weekends off starting Friday afternoon. Each week, you will work approximately 16 hours for the main program. In addition, you will spend around 10 hours supporting two other programs education for children, physiotherapy for disabled people, giving you the opportunity to gain valuable experience in volunteering with disadvantaged groups such as orphans, people with disabilities, and the elderly
