The experience

We're looking for volunteers who enjoy a mixture of activities and can support our NGO in different ways!

The role would consist of housekeeping duties mixed with working in our office. In the office there would be a variety of tasks, from fundraising and social media to recruitment.

If you enjoy a variety of different tasks and wish to work alongside other committed staff, this opportunity is the perfect way to experience Kampot!




What you offer

6 hours of help per day

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Program Details

Do you want to develop your skills through giving, sharing, and receiving? Our NGO empowers and inspires communities through holistic education. We offer English, IT and Life Skills courses to disadvantaged youths in Cambodia. We also nurture their soft skills such as self-confidence, leadership, citizenship and social responsibility. Providing them with opportunities to apply their learning in real-life situations.

Volunteering with us in this position would mean that you can support the quality education we provide to those who need it most. You would be directly contributing towards the NGO during your work in the office. The AHHA group owns multiple properties such as the boutique hotel in order to raise funds to continue educating the youth of Cambodia.
Both your days housekeeping and working in the office are contributing in their own way to giving the gift of education. We’re looking for volunteers as passionate about this as us!

During your three days a week in the office you would have a variety of different projects to work on, alongside a dedicated and helpful team. Some examples of these roles include researching and coming up with fundraising ideas, or you might be asked to work on recruitment which involves further research and confidence in your work. This role is perfect for those who enjoy trying new things and have an interest in research.

The remaining two days are spent at the AHHA Boutique hotel in which you will offer housekeeping services alongside a trained and committed team. This will ensure that the hotel is kept to the best standards, remain popular and generate revenue that will go back into the NGO.


Activities & Shift

- Three days a week would be spent in the office. You would work alongside a team and be assigned a variety of tasks. From research, to fundraising or possible recruitment.

- Two days a week would be spent at the AHHA Boutique Hotel. You would be part of the housekeeping team and work to ensure that the hotel remains at a high standard for the guests,


Rules

We have a zero tolerance policy for drugs, for smoking and drinking alcohol. Also we don’t allow guests to bring them to the hotel.

What’s not included:
Flights, travel insurance, internal transportation, Visa.
But for volunteers interested in committing for longer than 1 month, we can assist with the Visa extension process!
