What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 17 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

Description: volunteers are encouraged to contribute 17$ per day which goes towards accommodation, three meals per day as well as security and utilities


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pub Crawls: Be a part of our pub crawls at local bars!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Surf lessons: Take free surf classes at the local beaches.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely


Requirements

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Activities & Shift

🛠 Core Activities:

1. Site Assessment & Community Mapping
• Visit villages and urban areas with local partners
• Conduct needs assessments with community leaders
• Map available resources, existing structures, and terrain

2. Design & Planning Workshops
• Sketch conceptual designs for schools, clinics, or shelters
• Co create with local builders using culturally appropriate styles
• Use digital tools (SketchUp, AutoCAD, or hand-drawing)

3. Hands-On Construction Support
• Work with local masons, carpenters, and youth groups
• Help mix eco-friendly materials (e.g. earth bricks, bamboo)
• Support basic construction: measuring, leveling, layout prep

4. Sustainable & Low-Cost Design Projects
• Explore upcycling: bottle bricks, rammed earth, thatching
• Research and test affordable green solutions
• Contribute to long-term sustainability documentation

5. Educational Outreach & Youth Engagement
• Teach basic design thinking to students or youth clubs
• Host community presentations or “design demos”
• Help decorate or paint community spaces with murals/art
