Activities & Shift
We don't really have a set schedule, though we tend to work more in the afternoon or evening, during warm/ hot weather also rather late evening. So we would show you some tasks you can do independently, like for example feeding the horses, watering the garden, picking up horse poop. And then we would do some work together in the evening.
My mother is only here at the weekends, so often that's when we tackle bigger tasks/projects. For this reason we prefer volunteers who are willing to help at the weekends and take their free time during the week.
For food we provide ingredients and of course use of the kitchen so you can make your own meals. You're also welcome to join us for meals but our eating schedule is a bit 'creative'. My dad usually has a very late breakfast and I eat dinner more often than not around midnight.
We do try to have a few meals with everyone together, but it wont be everyday.
Rules
Please note that we can't really offer riding opportunity.
If you're lightweight and somewhat experienced (balanced seat and still hands) you could occasionally ride one of the ponys and help train them under the saddle, but they're still pretty green and get mostly worked on the ground.
