We’re looking for kind-hearted, committed volunteers to support our school feeding program and help us nourish not only children’s bodies, but also their hopes and dreams.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely


Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Swahili

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Our volunteers are the heart of this initiative. With your help, we can ensure that every child receives a warm, healthy meal in a safe and caring environment. Your contributions will make a direct and visible impact on the children and communities we serve🌱

Here’s how you’ll help:

1ļøāƒ£ Meal Preparation & Service
Assist in the clean, nutritious preparation of daily meals.
Set up and manage serving areas, portion meals, and make sure every child is fed.
Help maintain hygiene and clean up after meals.

2ļøāƒ£ Logistics & Coordination
Support the transport and distribution of food to schools.
Assist with inventory checks, supply tracking, and basic reporting.
Communicate with local school leaders and partners to keep everything running smoothly.

3ļøāƒ£ Health & Nutrition Support
Promote safe food handling and hygiene practices.
Monitor cleanliness and child safety in the feeding areas.
Share basic nutrition tips with students in fun and engaging ways.

4ļøāƒ£ Community Engagement
Raise awareness and inspire support through local outreach.
Act as ambassadors for the program—bringing in new energy, ideas, and connections.
Provide feedback from schools to help us grow and improve.

5ļøāƒ£ Emotional Support & Mentorship
Offer encouragement, smiles, and human connection.
Create a warm atmosphere that builds confidence and dignity.
Show every child they are seen, valued, and supported.
