Looking for a unique place to volunteer in vibrant Chennai? Join our laid-back backpackers' space where your creativity and positive vibes are always welcome.

We’re looking for awesome people to:
🎨 Paint in Canvas for hostel wall.
If you are any type of Artist who can contribute to the ambience of the hostel, you are most welcome. we welcome performing arts as well.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Music: Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Japanese

Between 18 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

In return, you’ll get:

Activities & Shift

🕒 Around 3-4 hours a day, Monday to Friday
📅 Weekends are free — explore, rest, or join a local adventure
⏰ Shift timing is flexible and can be arranged based on your comfort and our needs

Rules

✅ No shoes inside the hostel (it’s a calm, clean space)
🚫 No parties — we’re a peaceful, social place
😴 Quiet hours: 10 PM – 7 AM (perfect for resting and recharging)
