Volunteering at the home and truly an experience that I will will carry with me. The teaching was light and yet immersive. I had the privilege to share Conversational English Speaking with learners of all ages, each with different confidence and ability. It reminded me that volunteering isn't about perfection, it is truly about be present and adapting to the needs. This experience was enriching. I am deeply grateful to our Host Pim Her humility and simple way of way. She is attentive and caring. We are fortunate to have met her and contributed back to the society.

It was my first Worldpacker experience and I did not know what to expect beforehand, so there were no real expectations prior to my stay. But I liked it a lot and would recommend coming here to everyone if you want to learn more about Thai culture and meditation and monk life. Although I wanted to help with social media work, we decided on me doing something else but I had no problem with that at all. I learned to teach english to children and it was a nice experience as well. Pim is a wonderful and good hearted person and made my stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you for everything!

Our stay with pim was filled with love and kindness. One of the happiest and most thoughtful people we have ever met. She provided us with so much local food. She offered us so much guidance and encouragement. An extremely flexible and easy going host that gave us plenty of space and time to relax and do things at our own speed. We helped her with her project of building her own temple out in the countryside and were taken on trips to temples and museums. Overall an interesting and insightful experience that I would recommend to anyone. A very unique time spent with a real female monk.

We spent a wonderful 3 nights with Pim. She was so friendly and welcoming, and made us feel at home. We enjoyed exploring Ayutthaya and visiting lots of temples, and helping with watering the banana trees. Pim also meditated with us, which was lovely! Overall the experience allowed us to feel refreshed after a busy 2 months travelling, and it never felt like work. Thank you for everything Pim! We hope to be back again some day to see your temple.

My experience with Pim was amazing. She was so welcoming and taught me so much about her life as a female monk, spirituality and living in Thailand. The house was clean and spacious, besides from a few house bugs (which is normal in Thailand tho), I loved everything. Pim shared her food, her home and her heart with me. Thank you for everything, I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I had an amazing week with Pim, enjoying the opportunity to learn about her life as a female monk. Her mother, who lives nearby, kindly took another volunteer and me on a day trip to Ayutthaya, to explore the old capital of Thailand. Three times a week, children from the community came to Pim's house for playful English lessons, lasting around two hours. Spending time with the kids and their parents made us feel truly immersed in Thai culture. During our free time, we could explore or relax as we wished, with the home easily accessible via public transport. I'll definitely return again.

My week volunteering with Pim was truly amazing! She welcomed me with open arms and taught me so much about her work, local culture, and daily life. It was an incredibly flexible experience, allowing plenty of time to explore on my own with other volunteers while als learn how she contributes to the community. The description mentions teaching, but this is only for one day—so it's a fantastic opportunity to engage with the local community, but don't expect a full-time teaching role.
