What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Tours: Weโ€™ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: Weโ€™ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate English or Intermediate Swahili

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We are Songa and Roseline, a couple leading a grassroots community initiative. Our work includes:

๐Ÿงต Hosting workshops for women and youth empowerment
๐ŸŒ Environmental clean-up and awareness projects
๐Ÿ“š Sharing knowledge and language exchange (learn Suba and Kiswahili!)

Activities & Shift

๐Ÿชด Farming tasks: planting, watering, harvesting

๐Ÿ• 3 hours per day, 5 days per week
