Volunteering with at Mt the eco village was clearly a MAIN HIGHLIGHT of my 10 months travelling 🌞 It exceeded my expectations, it's like all the good things about Nepal are reunited in one place A place where you feel welcomed, loved, at peace Every individual of this family brings a piece of their soul to make this household a home away from home for whoever needs it A few things that we did during my stay 🌾 harvesting mustard 🍯 harvesting and trying fresh honey ⛺️ camping 🐮 taking care of cows 🏔️ hiking 👩‍🍳 cooking ! Best Daal Bhat and amazing food lessons with Ama

In short, I wish I could have stayed for 3 months instead of a couple of weeks, and I hope to come back again someday soon! It felt immediately like I was family - I could not have asked for more care and love and respect shown towards me, I was truly happy here. The community, the land, the incredible food, & the mountain camping will be special memories forever. I felt healed here, it is very special. I would say this is for people who can take initiative and be proactive in finding ways to help out / keep busy, and who can adjust to the lovely pace of life. Miss you all & thank you 🙏🏽

I had my best time with the family, from the first day I felt like a part of it. It's really hard to leave this place, or not to come back. The tasks are very easy but still you get to learn about local life and nepali culture. I had the best meals cooked by grandma and Goma. Jenish is like my little brother, always up to play or teach me the language. Kamal is a person touched by nature, and it's an amazing experience to go for a hike with him, and enjoy the peace of the forest. All in all everyone in the fam is fun and good hearted, and you'll get a precious time here for sure.

Meeting the family and spending time with them was lovely. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, and the environment created with the other volunteers was truly special. Goma is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and it was a pleasure to help her and the family with tasks on the eco village to prepare the fresh veggies they harvest every day. I am also very thankful to Kamal for organizing a camping trip on top of the eco village. Watching the sunrise over the Himalaya is something I'll never forget!

This was my first worldpackers experience and it was truly amazing. A beautiful, welcoming and friendly family who made me feel at home. Perfectly located in the scenic mountains a few hrs from Kathmandu, if you like nature and simple living this place is for you. Helping out on the farm was a joy and eating delicious fresh food daily is something we all need more of. Went hiking and camping which was something I will never forget, the views of the Himalayas needs to be seen with your own eyes. Thank you so much for this amazing experience, See you next time I'm in Nepal!!!!

3 weeks with Kamal and his family was the most wonderful part of my summer! I was really excited to play with Jenish (his younest son) and riding on motorbike with the eldest one. Food was so fresh and tasty, enjoyed everything that was cooked by his mom and wife. I also experienced the best views of mountains and hiking tours by Kamal. I was respomsible mainly for creating content / videos and thanks to this had opportunity to expore beautiful places! Thank you for everything, I hope I'll have one more chance to visit you!

Kamal and his family were truly amazing. Everyone but especially Guma and Shanti were extremely kindhearted. I always asked if I can help with anything but most of the time they would want to do everything for you. When I was there in August it was rainy season so I didn't have to work as much in the farm as I imagined. But when I did it was great. If you are looking for a place filled with kindness and good food I would recommend you go here. But you have to know it is pretty remote, so you can't do too much. The hike is nice and you can also go to the village. Thank you Kamal

Great experience! Already miss the kids and Goma's cooking. The internet is stable for remote working and the living situation is up to expectation. If you want a fulfilling experience that get you in touch with local Nepali people and learn about their culture, this is the one. ◡̈
