The experience
Are you passionate about working with children and making a real impact in early childhood education? Join us in Malawi and help nurture young learners through creativity, storytelling, rhythm, and fun!
This unique program places you in a local kindergarten classroom, where you’ll support children aged 3–6 in developing essential language and communication skills through songs, stories, play, and movement.
What you offer
17 hours of help per week
Arts:
Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Teaching Sports:
Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Description:
volunteers are encouraged to contribute 17$ per day which goes towards accommodation,three meals per day as well security.

Intermediate English
Between 18 and 80 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
As a volunteer, you will help pupils to:
• Develop their listening and verbal communication skills
• Expand reading and storytelling abilities
• Build confidence through expression, song, and drama
You’ll engage in joyful and meaningful activities such as:
🎵 Clapping, tapping, and beating time to rhythm and songs
🎭 Acting out songs, rhymes, and short poems
📖 Guiding children to retell and create their own stories
🗣️ Asking fun questions to build comprehension and critical thinking
🌍 Using child-friendly content on real issues like HIV/AIDS awareness, gender equality, and drug prevention in a safe and age-appropriate way
