I had such a good time there. Everybody is super nice and welcoming. The tasks were easy. I wasn't that busy when I was there because it was low season. Unfortunately, I had some family issues so I had to go back home much earlier than I thought. I would definitely recommend this position.

I had a great first volunteering experience, the hostel is a cozy hostel with a homely environment. The hosts were welcoming and were always reachable, I felt comfortable here since day 1. The work was as described, however I volunteered in low season so there wasn't always a lot to do, however the hosts often encourage creativity. The beds are comfy and have curtains, the kitchen is well equipped and always accessible. The working hours and jobs were the same as advertised. Panajachel is a vibrant town with a great nearby market and lots to explore around the lake too!

I came during a busy week and was able to start helping right away. This is an amazing hostel with many weekly activities, and panajachel is a wonderful place to be able to explore in your time off. All the volunteers I met were so kind, we hung out on the roof many nights. It's very easy to create a community here, once my 3.5weeks were up I was not ready to leave! I keep saying i can't imagine not coming back to visit, they've created a welcoming space here even with all the faces coming and going. I can't imagine a better first volunteering experience!

I had a great time at the hostel. Most of my work was teaching yoga on the rooftop so I didn't do as much time in reception. I appreciated the laid back nature of the hostel, the kindness of the employees and the ability to offer my classes regularly. Lots of love for this crew! Thank you guys for everything!

Working at the hostel was an incredible experience. Since it's a relatively new hostel and the team is very open-minded, there's always space to contribute your own ideas and personality. The tasks are straightforward, and your role as a volunteer is genuinely respected. I truly recommend volunteering here! 🙏🏼

I am actually still here at the hostel because i love it here so i extended. This is such a cool place to work. The lads are chill, open to new creative ideas and fun to be around I consider them friends as a posed to just hosts. The hostel is right in the center of all the activity of panajachel close to the beautiful view of the lake. If you have a specific skill you would like to exercise/show off I highly recommend getting involved in their project🤙🤙

I had a great time at the hostel! Everyone was welcoming and i felt comfortable and at home there. Both angel and manu made an effort with everyone and made my first volunteering experience a great one. Everything was communicated well beforehand and the hours and tasks that were agreed upon were stuck to and didn't change. It was low season while i was there so not as much to be done but that is to be expected sometimes. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting a fun hostel that's in a good area and easy to settle into. Thank you for a lovely time!

El hostel fue el mejor lugar que pudimos haber elegido para hacer un voluntariado y el lugar del que más nos dolió partir. Manu y Ángel son anfitriones excepcionales, siempre atentos, amables, increíbles personas para conectar, conocimos a más personas increíbles durante nuestra estadía. El lago es precioso y tenerlo cerca todos los días fue una experiencia realmente espiritual. Las instalaciones del hostel son cómodas y están limpias, los desayunos son ricos y la cocina está súper bien equipada, no podríamos recomendar más este voluntariado, nos sentimos muy agradecidos.
