We're looking for outgoing, responsible volunteers to help at our reception desk and create a warm and helpful environment for our guests.
From welcoming travelers to giving advice about hikes and cafes, you'll be the heartbeat of the hostel — where kindness, smiles, and good energy make all the difference 🤗
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Tour Guide:
Organize and lead tours around the city.
Party Promoter:
Help organise and promote parties and social activities.
Administration:
Help with booking systems and payments.
Reception:
Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
What you get
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Fast Internet Access:
High-speed internet for you to work remotely
Dedicated Workspace:
Specific space for you to work remotely
Requirements
Intermediate English or Intermediate Russian
Between 20 and 37 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
We’re a cozy, capsule-style hostel located in the heart of Karakol, welcoming guests from across the globe. As a volunteer, you’ll support us with light reception duties and guest engagement.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting with basic check-in/check-out procedures
Answering questions about the hostel and local area
Recommending things to do in and around Karakol
Helping guests feel comfortable, included, and informed
Occasionally managing messages or updating bookings
It’s a great fit for social, attentive people who love helping others.
🕒 Schedule: Around 25 hours per week, with 2 full days off
🎒 Free time to explore Karakol’s nature, food, and culture

Activities & Shift
Main tasks:
Greeting new guests and showing them around
Answering basic questions about the hostel or Karakol
Updating the booking system or passing info to the staff
Creating a relaxed and friendly vibe in common spaces
Typical shift:
5 hours/day
Morning or afternoon shifts depending on guest flow
Flexibility if there are late check-ins or early departures
