If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, inner connection, and meaningful exchange, this is the perfect opportunity. My name is Sebastian (also known as Guru Tera Singh in the Kundalini Yoga tradition), and I’m currently renovating an old house to create a retreat center focused on meditation, yoga, and personal development — all surrounded by a magical landscape at 1000 meters altitude in the French Pyrenees.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate French

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers


What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

🌿 What we offer:

Healthy vegetarian meals (no meat or fish);

Accommodation in a private room, attic dormitory, garden (for tents), or space for vans/campervans;

Deep connection with nature and a simple, fulfilling lifestyle;

Free time to explore hiking trails, medieval castles, waterfalls, and charming nearby villages.

Important: Inside the house, we maintain a clean, smoke-free and alcohol-free space (you're free to smoke or drink outside if you wish).
Local markets happen on weekends, and during the summer there are cultural events in the village every Friday evening.

Activities & Shift

🌟 What you’ll do as a volunteer:

Support with natural building using lime, wood, and sheep wool;

Help install doors, windows, and natural insulation;

Care for the organic vegetable garden that supplies the vegetarian kitchen;

Participate in organizing and maintaining the space;

Experience community living with conscious and sustainable practices.

🧘‍♀️ Daily routine:

Wake up with the sunrise and optionally join a yoga session at 5 a.m. (not mandatory, but a very special experience);

Enjoy a nourishing breakfast;

Start practical activities around 8:30 a.m. until mid-afternoon;

Have a regenerative lunch and enjoy free time to rest, hike, or explore the region.
