Program Details

We are looking for help with: building a small house under the old chestnut tree; creating a natural pond for ducks and geese; cutting wood and keeping the lawns tidy; building walls and fences; looking after our animals (dogs, cats, chickens, geese, ducks).
It is important to have experience in at least one of these areas to avoid risk of injury.
We love spending evenings together around the campfire. We don't always have rooms available, but if you agree to work with us and give us definite dates, we will reserve a room with a bathroom for you and look forward to welcoming you.

Activities & Shift

Our day begins around eight o'clock with a good breakfast, followed by the division of tasks, each according to their abilities. At lunchtime, we all sit together around the large table, and then, once the work is done, everyone organizes their day. The evening is dedicated to relaxation: dinner, sauna, bonfire, and music.
We live seven kilometers from the nearest village (Garessio) and an hour from the Ligurian Sea (Albenga, 37 km).

Rules

Our “commandments” are few but clear:
1. Animal welfare comes first
2. Keeping rooms and common areas tidy and clean shows respect for yourself and others
3. Be honest about your abilities: it's not just our project that's at risk, but also your personal safety, because you can hurt yourself with stones, chainsaws, and drills
4. No waste
