The experience
Join our animal welfare NGO in Arusha, Tanzania, as a content creator and blogger! From July to August, help us share our mission on social media, work with kids and vets, and assist with project coordination. We’re looking for someone active, open-minded, and ready to stay involved remotely after the experience. Meals, transport, and accommodation are shared within the team.

Description:
The weekly contribution of 55 USD covers:
- Accommodation
- Three vegetarian meals per day
- Transport in our shared vehicle during project activities
Please note that this is an approximate cost, as expenses may vary slightly. All costs are shared among team members and managed collectively through our shared team cashier.

Program Details
Join Voices for Animal Welfare (VfAW) in Arusha, Tanzania, for a unique experience combining creativity, compassion, and community action all for the animals. As a content creator and travel blogger, you’ll help document and share our daily work in animal welfare, collaborate with our photographer, and support on-site projects involving children, veterinarians, and local communities.
This hands-on opportunity runs from July to the end of August, with the possibility to continue contributing remotely afterward. Beyond content creation, you'll assist in small project management tasks and participate in impactful field activities. You'll be part of a dynamic and supportive team fully committed to making lasting change for animals, and the people who care for them.
You will also coordinate with our remote social media team, which is based in another country and follows a clear communication strategy. It’s essential to be collaborative and ready to align your creative work with our existing structure to ensure consistency and impact across platforms.
Accommodation, vegetarian meals, and shared transport are provided as part of a communal team effort, and you'll live closely with other passionate volunteers and team members.

Activities & Shift
Daily activities and schedules may vary depending on the projects and needs of the team.
Typically:
- Mornings are focused on office-based tasks, such as social media content creation, communication planning, and project coordination.
- Afternoons often involve field experiences, including visits to schools, community outreach, and assisting vets or photographers on-site.
Flexibility and teamwork are key, as each day brings new opportunities to learn and contribute!
