Program Details

'Fatora' means surfing in the local language!

One of the best attractions in Nias is Lagundri Beach (which you can see from the classroom). Its waves are renowned globally in the surf community; this is why we call our project the Fatora English Project.

We provide a place for children in the community to learn English, and a counselling place for widows to learn farming. The overall goal is to improve the quality of life in the surrounding community.

We are ready to help find cheap prices for your pick-up and drop-off at the airport, surfboard rentals and shopping at local markets.

You will be responsible for your food, but there are food stalls in our area, as well as restaurants and cafes.

As a gift from us, we will take you to see local areas and traditional villages for free, all we ask in exchange is that you contribute to the costs of fuel.
