The experience
Hi there! We're a British family of four whoβve made our home in a converted barn nestled in the stunning French Pyrenees ποΈ. Surrounded by 1.5 hectares of woodland and often snow-capped mountains in the distance, weβve been here for 8 years. Growing vegetables with varied success and sometimes animals too.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Kitchen Hand:
Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Free Hiking Tours:
Weβll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Fast Internet Access:
High-speed internet for you to work remotely

We also recently built a wooden deck in the forest for a glamping site and have a small studio we rent out to travelers. Our lifestyle is connected to nature, and we enjoy living simply and sustainably.

Tali is a carpenter and mountaineer, and Louise is a trained chef who also works at a democratic school and a community project transforming an old hangar into artist studios, and coworking space π΄ββοΈπ¨.
