At the end of 2023, a Dutch couple emigrated from the Netherlands to North Portugal to share their passion for traveling and creating great memories through the development of 4*/5* Ecoresort Portobali: Mixing the best of North Portugal with the best of Asia.

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Requirements

Fluent Dutch or Fluent English

Between 18 and 30 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We are starting our first volunteer trial period this year in the months of July - October, 2025 for a minimum period of 1 month.

What to expect?

In exchange for a four-day work week (+/-32 hours), we offer an inspirational environment with your accommodation and food. Kitchen and shower facilities are shared.

Activities & Shift

The work on our land is really diverse. Here are some of the tasks to give you an idea.

- Support with activities to offer our guests a great experience
- Clean the construction area of the renovation of future suites
- Cleaning the land (cutting trees and bush)
- Maintaining the vegetable garden and plants
- Water irrigation (install water tubes)
- Planting new trees and plants
- Help build animal housing

What are we looking for?

- Technical background is highly preferred

- A creative mind and go go-getter mentality
