Are you passionate about making a lasting impact in the lives of children and communities in need? Join us in Arusha, Tanzania, for a unique and meaningful volunteer opportunity where your efforts will directly support the future of underprivileged children.
We are currently working on a major project: raising funds to purchase land for the construction of a primary school for vulnerable and orphaned children.
What you offer
16 hours of help per week
Content Writer:
Write, edit and publish inspiring content.
Web Developer:
Help develop and maintain websites.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Activities & Shift
As part of the fundraising and community engagement team, volunteers will be involved in both office-based and community-centered tasks:
Fundraising & Awareness Activities
• Creating and managing online fundraising campaigns (GoFundMe, social media, etc.)
• Designing posters, graphics, and video content for promotion
• Reaching out to past volunteers, potential donors, and sponsors
• Writing emails, messages, or proposals to attract funding
• Sharing the school project story on blogs, forums, and networks
• Assisting with local fundraising events (if any)
Community Engagement & Support
• Visiting communities to help document stories and gather support
• Supporting clean-up campaigns or simple construction tasks (if ongoing)
• Teaching children basic English, math, or health awareness
• Organizing fun and interactive activities like games, art, or sports
• Helping with cooking or serving meals at community gatherings or children’s homes

🕒 Work Schedule & Shifts
We want to keep your days meaningful, balanced, and flexible. Volunteers typically work Monday to Friday, with weekends free for rest, exploration, or optional activities.

Rules

• Supporting community awareness events that promote the project locally
