The experience

Madama Hostel & Bistrot is a cozy and vibrant design hostel — a welcoming meeting place with an intercultural soul, serving as a crossroads between Milanese culture and the global traveler community and committed to sustainability.

You will help us at the reception, making sure guests get a great welcome. You will also give a hand to change the beds and maintain the shared kitchen tidy.

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Italian

Between 27 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

European Union Passport

Program Details

You will give us a hand at the reception during the day for 4 shifts/week. In some cases, you might do 3 day shifts and 1 night shift.

Our reception is open 24/24. We have great guests and great staff members, you'll have fun day or night and your help will be precious!

Minimum 3-month stay.
