The experience

Join a warm, welcoming family on a charming small-scale farm in Kenya! We raise rabbits and chickens, and grow fresh vegetables like kale, coriander, bananas, and more. Our land is also rich in tropical fruits—avocados, guavas, sugarcane, passion fruits... straight from the trees to your hands. 🍌🥬🐇

What you offer

2 hours of help per day

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

3 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Volunteers will live and work like part of our family, joining our daily farm routine. This is a great opportunity to learn hands-on farming skills, contribute to a meaningful lifestyle, and enjoy peaceful moments surrounded by nature. You’ll also get to taste farm-fresh produce and share cultural experiences with your hosts. 💚🌿


Activities & Shift

🕒 2 hours per day – 3 days off

Main tasks include:
– Tilling and watering the vegetable gardens
– Harvesting fruits and herbs
– Feeding and caring for rabbits and chickens
– Light maintenance around the farm
– Helping with composting and eco-friendly practices (depending on season)

We keep the vibe simple and positive—no prior experience needed, just a helping spirit and love for the outdoors! 🌱✨
