Program Details
This program offers volunteers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting while supporting local healthcare services. Participants work alongside qualified doctors and medical staff, assisting with patient care, consultations, and routine procedures.
Activities & Shift
Typical activities include accompanying doctors on ward rounds, taking patient histories, following up on cases to ensure correct medication is provided, and helping with diagnosis and general consultations. Volunteers may also observe medical procedures, assist with basic treatments such as changing bandages or providing first aid, and help monitor recovery by checking vital signs like blood pressure. In addition, there are opportunities to support hospital administration, record and organize health data, and assist patients attending both out-patient and in-patient care. This program is ideal for students, aspiring medical professionals, or volunteers with an interest in healthcare who wish to develop practical skills while making a meaningful contribution.
