The experience

Would you like to live just a few meters from the beach inNicaragua helping organize hostel-style events and learn Spanish!? We’re looking for a creative volunteer to be my assistant, living temporarily in a beach house in Poneloya, León – Nicaragua.This house is in the process of being transformed into a hostel and we want to start bringing it to life through social and cultural activities A unique cultural and language immersion experience!

What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 7 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: Utilidades y servicios básicos : luz , agua ,electricidad toallas, papel higiénico .

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Spanish

Between 18 and 57 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

My house is currently unoccupied because I’m traveling, but it’s in good condition and will soon be converted into a hostel-style tourist accommodation. It’s ready for a responsible person to care for it during this transitional phase.

100% communicative Spanish (or English) classes at a language school just 15 minutes away

Enjoy the perfect balance between work and relaxation: Work only 3 hours per day from Wednesday to Saturday, with Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays free for exploring LeĂłn, relaxing on the beach, or experiencing the local culture.

Activities & Shift


🎯 What will your mission be?
To help build a sense of community in a beach house currently transitioning into a hostel by organizing open and dynamic events that attract travelers and future guests—especially on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)—such as:
• Sunday Funday , Karaoke nights , Trivia nights, Salsa classes
Beer pong,Bonfires , And many more ideas you can bring!

✨ Main tasks:
• Brainstorm, plan, and host hostel-style events
• Promote activities on social media and in local groups
• Create visual content (photos, reels, stories)
• Be the host during events: welcome and energize participants
• Propose new ideas depending on the season

🏡 What I also need from you:
• To live in the house and help take care of it (in coordination with me)
• Supervise general order and cleanliness
• Report urgent needs
• Bring a positive attitude, responsibility, and autonomy

A positive and creative person who loves connecting people and creating memorable experiences in a multicultural, oceanfront setting.

A peaceful beach area surrounded by nature and sea, just 15 minutes from the vibrant, historical university city of LeĂłn.

Rules

Prohibition of excessive alcohol
Work hours: 9AM - 12PM (3 hours of daily work with flexible hours, as long as tasks are completed before 4 PM.)
Hosting other individuals not previously approved by the Worldpackers application is not allowed.
If gardening tasks are completed early, assistance will be provided with complementary tasks based on your profile
