The experience

I live in a beach house in El Hierro, in a small volcanic stone village. I have difficulty walking and need someone daily to help carry materials, cook, set up the space, and assist in artistic projects. You will stay in the beach house itself, in the space also dedicated to creation. If you love the sea, creativity, and offering your support, you’re very welcome here!

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

I invite you to live in a small volcanic stone village by the sea, surrounded by nature and creativity. As a host, I face mobility challenges and need daily help with carrying materials, cooking, setting up the space, and contributing to artistic and practical projects. In exchange for your help, I offer accommodation and shared meals. The program is ideal for those who love the ocean, simple living, and lending a hand.

Activities & Shift

Your daily activities will vary depending on needs and your own skills or interests, but may include:
• Carrying materials and supplies to and from the beach house.
• Preparing meals and helping in the kitchen.
• Helping with cleaning and organizing spaces.
• Contributing to small artistic projects (photography, painting, etc.) and selling some productions.
• Occasional maintenance work in and around the house (moving items, adjusting furniture, etc.).

Expect to help around 4-5 hours a day, with flexible schedules to allow time for rest and personal exploration.
