Program Details
Our days start slowly and peacefully: breakfast on the terrace, under the morning sun, with fresh bread, seasonal fruit, and coffee (or juice for the kids). The view is of olive trees and rolling hills, and the air is still cool and pleasant.
The morning is dedicated to relaxing activities: a walk through nearby trails, a swim in the sea during the quietest hours, or simply time to read and play outdoors.
Around mid-morning, we spend a couple of hours doing light French activities with the girls — games, reading, and simple exercises, all in a playful and natural way.
Lunch is a shared moment, as we cook together — a great opportunity to exchange recipes and discover the flavors of traditional Calabrian cuisine.
After lunch, we rest during the hottest hours of the day — everyone at their own pace. Then, in the late afternoon, the girls do some schoolwork, calmly and without pressure.
As the sun starts to go down, we head back outside: beach time, outdoor games, maybe a walk along the seafront or a stop for a gelato.
Dinner is always a special time, shared together with food we’ve prepared and long conversations under the stars. Some evenings, we explore the inland areas: charming villages, archaeological sites, and authentic Calabrian traditions still alive today.
It’s a simple, beautiful experience — perfect for someone looking for a different kind of summer, filled with nature, culture, and genuine human connection.
Activities & Shift
We kindly ask that you follow the girls during their daily activities — playtime, small tasks, walks, meals — and interact with them by speaking French as much as possible. The goal is not formal teaching, but rather creating a natural and immersive environment where they can hear and begin to understand the language in a fun, relaxed way.
