General help with small building projects on the house and land

The experience

I am looking for help and assistance on my farm house in France I bought in 2025 general help and assistance with small building projects and ground maintenance , painting and decorating and help with labour around the project. its is a small project with mainly renovation and decoration, there are two barns to clear out and make into clean areas for work shops. I also have two large areas of grass to cut wit tractors and mechanical garden tools

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Fluent English

Between 18 and 60 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

help and assistance with general renovation of Farm house this is an opportunity to live in rural France in a small hamlet only minutes away from the town or Gurete and a short walk or bike ride to the village of Ajain which has a chemist baker and cafe with a small supermarket.

4 hrs a day Monday to Friday activities as above
