My experience in Lombok was incredible. It was my first solo trip and I was a bit scared initially, but Budi is really easy-going and made me feel at home. His mother is also very caring and her dishes are delicious (also very careful to what could be bad for us Europeans, for example water). Belanting has beautiful landscapes and the children are nice and polite. It's definitely worth visiting to immerse in the real Indonesian culture.

Budi is an incredible caring and attentive host with great sense of humor. Thanks to him, I discovered the richness of the local culture by meeting villagers and students, and I had the chance to teach the organization the village as well as the organization culinary school, where I also taught some French. The students were all adorable, motivated, and eager to learn. The food was absolutely delicious- special thanks to his mother Ramah, who is an exceptional cooker. We also visited beautiful places, such as waterfall, rice fields and beaches. unforgettable experience. 100% recommend it !

Me and my partner travelled to Lombok expecting to work and occupy most of our time the organization and exploring by ourselves. This experience has been nothing short of brilliant. Budi is the most genuine person you'll ever meet. He is driven by determination, ambition and he's super organised. We stayed in his small house with tasty homemade meals everyday. The bathroom is super basic and was a cultural shock for my partner. We attended local events and weddings, took boat trips to snorkel, met local people and taught a range of different children. The hospitality was 5 star from start to finish.
