Program Details

We’re a family with young kids, so our days start early(ish). Around 9 a.m. we get going with some light gardening, painting, or other hands-on help around the house or gîte. At 12:00, it’s time to slow down and enjoy lunch together. After lunch, just 2–3 more hours of help — and then your job is done. The rest of the day? Free time, naps, exploring, or just watching the grass grow (we’ll mow it tomorrow 😉).

Activities & Shift

No two days are the same — and that’s exactly how we like it! You might be helping in the garden of the gîte, doing a bit of painting, cleaning, fixing something, or lending a hand around our home. It depends on the day, the weather, and what’s growing (or falling apart 😄). One thing’s for sure: we keep it varied, relaxed, and always with coffee breaks.

Rules

Nothing too strict, just the good stuff:
– Respect the space, the vibe, and each other
– Help where you can, no pressure to be a machine
– We eat together, laugh together, and clean up together
– No loud music or late-night parties (the chickens need sleep too)
– If something breaks — or you break — just let us know
– Smoking is fine (it’s France, after all) — but only outside

Rule number one: enjoy the ride.
