The experience

We are Eva and Eric are looking for some help with carpentry. Eva is a carpentry teacher, Eric a classical schooled carpenter so experience is not that important, the will to gain a new skill definitely . We also work on the sawmill.

We have help for the garden till the end off august. After august we can also have some help in the vegetable garden with the harvest.
We supply safety work clothes and shoes.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Beginner Dutch

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We prefer long term volunteers, everyone has a private bedroom with wifi and heating the bedroom isn’t in the house but it are separate cabins
We are flexible in workhours and weekends, because everyone has different needs and wishes . Eva is doing the garden, eric the maintenance.

Activities & Shift

we gonna harvest in the winter some trees we can process during the summer. We have our own sawmill and produce our own lumber.
When we work as a team we decide together the start time. The days off are also flexible

Rules

we have a contract and a risk insurance for the volunteers. Some common house rules about bathroom use etc.
