As a city person the lifestyle in this very tiny village was unfamiliar but perfect. Everyone was so kind and it just felt calming, living away from cities. Not boring though! Something happened every couple of days like a small festival, a birthday. You still have to be comfortable with doing nothing some times, as the remoteness just takes away the possibility to spontaneously visit a shopping centre. You can go swimming in a pond (quite cold), walk around the fields. And there is so much to learn about their religious world views and their way of life, that may be interesting for everyone.

The host and all the locals were very welcoming! The experience was amazing. The food even though it was vegetarian and I am not used to it, it was delicious and big portions! The tasks were not extreme, some required more physical activity but most of them were not difficult to do. The room was nice, the only downside was I didn't have internet, only in common areas such as the house next to me where we would usually go for lunch, and the signal in the village is poor. So expect less screen time, and more connecting with nature! Thank you for this lovely experience Arunas!

I was in the farm for 10 days, working was great as Arunas lead us well and instructed us good in what was needed to do, in the mornings we worked and we had the hole evening for ourselves, it's a giant space so you can go for walks, see the animals there… I tried to get back to some hobbies that in my daily routine I don't have the time to dedicate to them, so I really loved that I had time to be in nature and get back to them. Also the people there are very nice and generous, I didn't get to know them deeply but they were open to have a small talk and get to know you a bit!

Brilliant experience, Arunus is a great host. I found he took extra care to make our experience better with taking us to different places and preparing food. i stayed 2 weeks was perfect as longer than that i feel i'd have run out of things to do, but it's a very unique experience and worth it for a break from regular life, id advise bringing a hobby or something to do tho like a craft or books to keep yourself occupied

Very peaceful place if you want to spend some time kn nature, do some simple tasks or even help in their temple and learn more about Vaishnavism. People here are always open for a friendly discussion and are open minded and heart - led:) good experience 🙏

Loved staying at this out-of-the-way peaceful place. Arunas is a welcoming host, tasks are also varied community engagement, gardening or construction. Wish could have stayed longer.

The host Arunas is great! He showed me everything, made nice breakfast and other meals and always made me feel comfortable. The work was easy, but I did a lot of cleaning, which wasn't mentioned, but it was fine for me. The people are lovely, but some don't speak English, so you can only talk with a few. As they belong to Hare Krishna, you learn a lot about their unique way of living. Days were short in November, and as the only volunteer I felt a bit alone, so I'd recommend coming in summer with more volunteers, when they also host events.

Arunas and the other locals are great people! You are always greeted with a smile. The daily work is pretty easy mentally, but can get quite exhausting. Some tasks I had to do were: looking after the greenhouses (watering, weeding, etc) or carrying firewood to the shed. You are definitely not going to starve here even though it takes some time to get used to the schedule. Breakfast and lunch are being provided and dinner is sort of a "take it yourself" thing. I really had a great time here and even though it can get quite boring it was a nice experience.
