I really enjoyed my volunteer experience at the project! What stands out the most about this place are the people. Everyone here is wonderful. The other volunteers, Giuseppe, and the people who work there will make your stay more enjoyable and fun. When it comes to lifestyle, I am very much a city person, and this volunteer experience completely changed my lifestyle. It was an abrupt change that took some getting used to at first, but I eventually adapted and was able to enjoy my stay much more. I recommend this volunteer 100%, and the best part? PIZZA NIGHTS!!🍕

The experience at the project was really nice, and the project is very interesting. Giuseppe and Diego are both super friendly and kind, always willing to explain and answer any questions. The tasks and schedules are well organized, and they respect the two days off. Meals are prepared by the volunteers themselves, using the ingredients provided. There isn't a lot of variety, but it's enough. Things to consider before going: there's no Wi-Fi, so it's a good idea to have a mobile data plan in case you need to stay connected.

The project has a very well-developed and impactful agroforestry project. I believe it's a great place to learn about sustainability. The tasks were really well guided by Giuseppe and other more experienced volunteers. A good part of the meals are made with ingredients grown right there on the land. I highly recommend it.

I came to the project in June 2025 and stayed for three weeks. From the beginning I was welcomed friendly by the volunteers that were there and Giuseppe. Work there was fun because during it I got to learn so much about agroforestry and got to spend time with interesting people. The whole Project seemed like a magical new place to me, since I have never been on a farm before. Would definitely recommend!

The project was a super cool experience: even in the short time I was there for, I felt like I learned a lot about permaculture and sustainability. This project draws in a diverse mix of volunteers from all over, and get spend time with them was a real treat.

Giuseppe is an incredibly kind and thoughtful host. I learned so much and was able to fully experience sustainable, permaculture-based living. The environment is welcoming, peaceful, and deeply connected to nature. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in eco-living and meaningful experiences. Thank you, Giuseppe :)

Giuseppe, Elise and the other volunteers made me feel very welcome. It was a nice and calm environment. He has multiple cool projects going on and it was great helping out and learning new things. I really enjoyed my time there and the time in nature. You can cook and eat together and chat with the other cvolunteers. I also enjoyed the work, it was exactly the right amount, fun to do but not too much. I can only recommend it warmly :)

Giuseppe's place is a rural countryside house immersed in an immense green area where many trees and plants of all kinds are planted. I stayed there for 7 nights and worked in the fields every day, both morning and afternoon. The hours are respected and the schedule is clear. Apart from the field work you are required to perform a task useful for the community, which in my case was at first handling the compost toilet and then cooking, during the last days. I enjoyed getting to know the long term volunteers he hosts, with whom I managed to create a great relationship. Good place for vegans.

Giuseppe is very attentive and receptive. The hours of rest are fulfilled. Regarding the house needs the eradication of pigeons and the volunteers to collaborate in cleaning the kitchen.

Bring your own sheets and pillow! I unfortunately got bitten all over my face from mites on the pillow in the attic. Luckily one of the long term offered me her downstairs bed since she slept in her tent. I ended up staying because of how kind the volunteers are! The long term volunteers taught the short terms the tasks each day. We got the weekends off so it was fun to explore Bari and go to the beaches. It was an eye opening experience and I learned a lot of new gardening/ farming methods as well as how our actions affect the planet. It felt peaceful and meditative to be outside in nature.
