The experience
we believe in the power of art to inspire, heal, and educate. We're inviting passionate volunteers to join our arts and crafts program and bring joy and color into the lives of vulnerable children.

Program Details
The program invites volunteers with a love for creativity and children to lead arts and crafts sessions for vulnerable children aged 5 to 14. These sessions take place in a safe, welcoming environment where creativity is used as a tool for expression, healing, learning, and joy. You don’t need to be a professional artist—just bring your enthusiasm and a passion for working with children.
How the Program Works
Arrival & Orientation
Once you arrive at our organization, You’ll receive an orientation covering our mission, child protection policies, your role, and tips on working with the children and integrating into the local culture.
Integration & Planning
You'll be introduced to the children and the local staff you'll be working with. Together, you'll help design weekly creative activities—these could include drawing, painting, paper crafts, bead work, clay modeling, and other fun, age-appropriate projects.
Daily Volunteering (Monday–Friday)
You'll typically volunteer for 4–5 hours per day, helping lead creative sessions and supporting the children as they explore different forms of art. Your mornings might be used for planning and preparing materials, while afternoons are more hands-on with the kids.
Supportive Environment
You’ll be working with staff and fellow volunteers in a collaborative and flexible environment. Whether you're leading a group mural project or sitting beside a child helping them make their first painting, you’ll be encouraged to bring your unique style and ideas.
Cultural Exchange & Free Time
Outside your volunteer hours, you’ll have time to explore local markets, visit cultural sites, attend traditional dance nights, or take part in weekend excursions.
