The experience

Are you passionate about nature, rural life, and learning by doing? Come volunteer with us on a family-run farm in the heart of Namibia! 🌾 You'll support hands-on tasks like cattle care, bushland management, and eco-charcoal production — while living close to nature and experiencing daily life in the African countryside.


What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate German

Between 22 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers


What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

💚 What We Offer:

🛠️ What You'll Help With:

Feeding and helping care for our cattle
Maintaining bushland, water infrastructure, and fences
Assisting with eco-charcoal production from invasive bush
Packing and preparing charcoal for transport
General maintenance around the farm
Optionally support basic tracking and nature walks (non-hunting)


👤 Who We're Looking For:

Volunteers interested in agriculture, nature, and rural living
Physically active and ready for outdoor work
Respectful, open-minded, and eager to learn
English-speaking (German is a bonus but not required)
Kind to animals, people, and the environment


Activities & Shift

📅 30 hours per week (5 days/week), flexible shifts depending on the day’s tasks.
You’ll have plenty of time to relax, explore, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
