Program Details

I Love Calcosas is a small guesthouse located right by the sea, at the foot of a remote fishing village made of volcanic stone. It is part of a broader project connected to 7 Calcosas, the main mixed guesthouse located uphill, a 5–10 minute walk via a scenic path.

Our space is peaceful, poetic, and artistic – ideal for nature lovers, creatives, and those seeking meaningful connections. We welcome only one volunteer at a time to maintain a calm, simple and respectful atmosphere.

You’ll help with the rhythm of daily life here: cleaning, preparing for new guests, carrying things up or down the path, assisting in our little café and boutique, and optionally joining in artistic or craft-based projects.

Activities & Shift

The daily routine is light and flexible, depending on the number of guests and the season. You’ll usually help with:
• Cleaning rooms and changing bed linen
• Small carrying tasks between the lower and upper houses
• Greeting and assisting guests
• Helping in the café-boutique (serving drinks, handling sales)
• Participating in art or craft projects (optional)

We expect around 3–4 hours of help per day, with flexible scheduling depending on needs and your own rhythm. You’ll have plenty of time to rest, explore, or create.

Rules

• Please be respectful of the quiet, artistic energy of the place.
• Cleanliness and kindness are essential.
• No drugs or heavy alcohol use.
• Meals are provided, with some help expected in cooking. You’ll have access to a basic kitchen.
• Minimum stay: 1 week – Longer stays possible depending on fit.
