I had an amazing time at the host, I miss it so much already! My boyfriend and I stayed for a week and it was a very fun time. The work is very straight forward and is mostly just serving customers drinks, cleaning up the area, helping to take care of the dogs, and cutting coconuts. There is a kitchen where you can cook for yourself and David provided us with lots of food to cook with and brought dinner at night. We got to see bioluminescent plankton at night with the kayak which is something I'll never forget. If you want to disconnect from your phone, meet people, and chill out come here

We spent a week at the host Bar & the host and we loved our time! David is a funny fella and took very good care of us. The duties are pretty straightforward and easy and we found ourselves settled into the routine super quick! It was very nice to spend some time on this quiet, secluded beach (mostly) away from cell coverage. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to disconnect and/or live a slow paced life for a bit. We will miss David, the 6 puppies and the host! Oh yeah if you go, you NEED to take the kayak out & see the bioluminescent plankton - it was NUTS.

Volunteering in this the host was really nice! David, the host, is really welcoming and checks on everyone to make sure all of us enjoy the experience! The tasks are easy and the contact with nature is there constantly! Taking care of the host and the dogs in the beach is amazing! If you like nature, this experience is definitely worth it!

Hosts are great all around. They give you all the tools & guidance for you to have a great experience. The campiste is basic but more than enough to enjoy a great, sustainable stay. You will meet great travelers, collaborate together & co-live for a great experience. You will take care of 6 beautiful pups, help the owner with customers & other volunteers. You will cook, fish & enjoy having an island as your home. I highly recommend this experience

Had the most amazing time at the host!! David is a gem and the dogs are the absolute best. Camping on the beach was a unique experience and it's really cool to be so close to wild life. Please make sure to bring enough mosquito spray with you, those are the worst. Will miss all the dogs cuddles and living on the beach, definitely recommend spending time here!!!!

This was my first time volunteering. Before arriving I was quite nervous but was immediately put at ease when I met David, our host. He has a great sense of humor, carefree attitude & enthusiasm for adventure. He trusted us to take initiative during the day with cleaning, organizing, serving customers & restocking the bar. During free time we sunbathed, swam, kayaked & hiked. Not to mention spending quality time with his six adorable dogs, who were great at keeping wild life at bay. Honestly, one of the best experiences I have had during my travels so far. Thank you so much David!

For my first experience as a volunteer it was absolutely wonderful! David is a very respectful, caring and above all very funny host. Volunteer work is not difficult on a daily basis and allows you to learn new things like fishing and perfectly opening coconuts. The presence of the 6 adorable dogs is a big plus for this experience. the host is basic but comfortable. I can only recommend it 100%.

My experience at the host couldn't have been better — a completely natural environment where you can disconnect, surrounded by animals (including the family of puppies, who are the most beautiful and affectionate). It was truly wonderful. Such a unique vibe there. The natural scenery around the beach is stunning, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The host was super funny and caring, always making sure everyone felt welcomed and comfortable and we were 24/7 protected by 6 sweet energetic dogs. If you're looking to escape the constant buzz of social media and digital life, this is the ideal spot to unwind and disconnect. David is the soul of the place as well as the 6 dogs. Also had a great time with the whole team. Daily work includes cutting coconuts, refresh ice box, taking care of the bar when tourists come, cooking and cleaning for yourself, the team and the dogs, protecting food from monkeys 🤣. Very friendly and chilling vibe. David was so nice showing everyone of the team plankton, unforgettable experience of life.
