Are you passionate about making a real difference? Join a grassroots community project supporting vulnerable youth and children through education, arts, sports, and empowerment in Tanzania

This is more than volunteering — it’s a deep cultural exchange where you'll teach, mentor, inspire, and grow alongside local children and young people. Whether you love football ⚽, drawing 🎨, dancing 💃, or simply sharing your knowledge — your help is welcome


What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Swahili

Between 18 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Our volunteer program is designed for open-minded and compassionate individuals ready to engage with local communities. As a volunteer, you’ll participate in youth education and empowerment projects, offering your time and creativity to teach children in local schools, support social activities, and promote positive change in underserved areas.

You’ll also gain valuable personal and professional skills while becoming part of a growing movement that believes in equal opportunities and dignity for all.

Activities & Shift

You’ll contribute around 25 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, with flexible hours depending on local schedules.

Your tasks may include:

🧒 Teaching children basic English, math, or science

🎨 Facilitating arts, music, or creative workshops

⚽ Organizing sports and games with youth

👫 Mentoring, storytelling, and social engagement

🌿 Supporting community outreach or awareness campaigns

You’re encouraged to bring your own ideas! Volunteers with experience in education, social work, creative arts, counseling, or physical activities are especially welcome.

Treat our staff, children, and fellow volunteers with compassion and dignity

Volunteers are required to hold a valid volunteer permit during their stay
