The experience

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families?
This volunteer opportunity offers you the chance to contribute directly to educational and community programs in Uganda, supporting children through learning, care, and empowerment.

As a volunteer, you'll engage in transformational work that fosters growth, resilience, and hope 🌱🌍.


What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Beginner English or Beginner German

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

As a volunteer, you’ll take part in activities that directly support children’s development and the wellbeing of the community, including:

Teaching & Tutoring: Assist with English classes and help children with homework and learning support.

Creative Learning: Design fun, interactive lessons, games, or materials to make learning more engaging.

Mentorship & Care: Build trust with the children, support their emotional wellbeing, and organize recreational activities.

Community Participation: Help with school events, workshops, and development projects like improving classrooms or extracurricular programs.

You'll be part of a warm, collaborative environment where local staff will guide and support you throughout your stay.

🏠 Logistics & Living:
Accommodation: Housing may be provided or arranged depending on your program

Meals: Some meals may be available, otherwise volunteers cook independently

Transport: Local transportation to project sites can be arranged when needed
