The experience
Bonjour adventurous souls! π
Come join me on my horseman science farm just 20 minutes from Angers, in the heart of the stunning Loire Valley β home to fairytale castles, world-class wineries, and lush countryside. π²π·
I'm running this little slice of paradise solo (with some awesome flatmates and friendly animals πΆππ). If you're positive, motivated, flexible, and love nature, this is the place for you! π
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Kitchen Hand:
Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Animal Care:
Help look after and take care of animals.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Free Parties:

Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.

I'm an anthropologist and a lifelong horse lover π. My passion lies in ethological riding β a science-based, trust-centered approach to horsemanship inspired by Native American wisdom and modern research. I believe working with animals helps us build better relationships with each other and the world around us πΏ.

Activities & Shift
VERY PHYSICAL JOB
π οΈ Volunteer Tasks (Varied & Fun!):
π§βπΎ Farm jobs: weeding, painting, collecting firewood, mowing the lawn, mustering goats, whipper snipper !
π Horse jobs: feeding, stable care, checking horses, trimming grass, building fences (NO experience needed!)
π‘ House jobs: kitchen cleanup, cooking, walking & washing the dogs
π°οΈ Working hours: ~5 hours/day, split depending on the day's rhythm β flexible and chill!
