It is a very quiet place where life is moving pretty slow. You can immerse yourself in the Center lifestyle and attend to their meditation classes if you dont have to work that time.

The experience at Tara was good! Even though things didn't go as I expected I don't have anything negative to say. The task were really easies, the guest, volunteers and all people involved there were really kind and respectful. The place is amazing! If you want to relax, learn about Buddhism and know people of all over the world this is the perfect place.

What a beautiful place this is! The people working together to maintain this place run are amazing! This place provided me with a safe and peaceful environment where I learned about the Center tradition. It was also very nice to find other travelers from all over the world who were kind, friendly, and fun! I can't recommend this place enough!

This was my first volunteer + travel experience and it was awesome! Beautiful house in the countryside with beautiful people to share and work with. The hours were respected, everyone had a weekly timetable, the task were variable and that made it more interesting. Great accommodation and great food. In my days off I traveled to near cities. I also was able to participate in different budist activities, were very interesting. KMC the Center are worldwide, will look for new volunteer opportunities with them in the future. Thank you all!

I don't know if I can express with words everything I've lived in this wonderful place! I think as much as I try, I can't because it was just magical! The beauty of the place, the peace that the place brought me, the meditations, the people who lived there or just volunteered, everything was just perfect, everything was as it should have been. I still had a little bit of the language barrier, but as the days went by I felt more comfortable speaking and my ear was sharper to understand. I just have to thank everything I've experienced and I highly recommend it! I will definitely be back too!

El lugar está increíble, es una casa muy grande al estilo inglés.. Las personas dentro del centro son maravillosas honestamente me sentí como en casa rodeado de gente de todo el mundo y compartiendo día a día con los monjes del centro y otros voluntarios. Recomiendo totalmente la experiencia lo único que debes tener en cuenta es que las tareas a desempeñar son bastante exhaustivas, no son tareas difíciles pero si requieren de esfuerzo físico, aunque al final del día siempre puedes unirte a las meditaciones y relajar tu cuerpo y mente. Agradezco a Sam y a Donna por todas las atenciones.

El centro es un sitio excelente para llevar a cabo aquí tu voluntariado, es un sitio amplio con un ritmo relajado rodeado de una hermosa vista forestal, hay dulces por montones (ofrendas de meditación) y se respira la armonía al hablar con cualquiera de sus residentes o empleados, todos son muy amables, trabaje únicamente en cocina lo cual es perfecto para aprender nuevas recetas, los voluntarios con quienes conviví han sido de lo más entrañable por lo que el intercambio cultural fue de lo más interesante, recomiendo si lo que buscas es una parada tranquilo durante tu viaje

Tara Center es un lugar muy lindo, con una gran apertura para aprender sobre el budismo. Las actividades a realizar son un verdadero reto ya que implican un desafiante esfuerzo físico y se espera que estes dispuesto a participar en todos los tipos de tareas como: jardinería, limpieza, cocina y asistencia en coffee shop. Hay que tomar en cuenta que resulta complicado aprovechar tu tiempo libre ya que conocerás las actividades a realizar por la mañana del día en curso, los horarios son fragmentados, al igual que los descansos. Sin duda, fue una experiencia con grandes enseñanzas.
