Uplift widows and women-led families by sharing skills, facilitating workshops, and supporting income-generating activities that lead to independence and confidence.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Elderly Care: Assisting and spending time with the elderly.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 100 Per week

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: Volunteers contribute $100 per week to cover expenses for, Travel to Villages: Your fee helps cover transportation costs to the villages where the widows and their families reside, allowing you to engage directly with the community and understand their needs. Meals: provide nourishing meals that reflect the local culture, ensuring you have the energy to fully participate in our activities and build connections with those you are helping.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

You’ll work hand-in-hand with resilient women as they learn tailoring, farming, cooking, budgeting, and more. Every shared idea, lesson, or kind word adds to their strength. This is a space of growth, healing, and community resilience 💛.

1. Skill Development Workshops: Facilitate workshops focused on teaching widows new farming techniques, including sustainable practices and crop rotation.

2. Training on New Equipment: Provide hands-on training sessions on the use of modern farming equipment and technology, helping widows become proficient in their use.

3. Entrepreneurship Training: Conduct sessions that cover essential entrepreneurial skills, such as business planning, marketing, and customer service.

4. Value Addition Techniques: Teach widows how to process and package their agricultural products to increase their market value, including lessons on food preservation and product diversification.

5. Financial Literacy Workshops: Offer training on budgeting, saving, and managing finances, empowering widows to make informed financial decisions.

6. Fundraising Support: Assist in organizing fundraising events or campaigns to help widows secure the necessary agriculture equipment's, capital to start or expand their small businesses.

7. Mentorship Programs: Pair experienced volunteers with widows to provide ongoing support and guidance as they develop their skills and businesses.

8. Networking Opportunities: Help create connections between widows and local and international markets, suppliers, and other entrepreneurs to foster collaboration and support.
