This was my first experience solo traveling internationally and I truly could not recommend the home more. He is such a kindhearted and warm person and I feel so lucky to have met him! He introduced me to so many wonderful people and I felt so welcomed even with people I had language barriers with. The food was so good, the home is a wonderful cook. I loved all our time spent outside seeing the most beautiful places I've ever been to, then going somewhere new the next day and immediately changing my mind because it was even better! Thank you so much for everything, I hope you had a wonderful time too

Me and a friend stayed with the home for 2 weeks and we loved the experience. the home is a super nice person with a big heart and he welcomed us with open arms. He has a beautiful home and we had a lot of fun surfing, hiking, cooking, meeting the locals and exploring this beautiful town. Thank you so much the home and I hope to see you soon<3

Me and my friend stayed about a week with the home. He's super friendly, welcoming and trying to help courteous. We had a great time exploring Praia do Rosa, but it's definitely not what we expected. Our stay was more like couchsurfing, cause we didn't had to work at all, even if we offered our help all the time. So sometimes it felt a bit uncomfortable having all these benefits without doing anything and also not interacting to much with the host. We still recommend this opportunity but be aware of the fact that it's not a classical volunteering and you have to fill your time by your own :)

The volunteer position description emphasizes the type of service I require in exchange for hosting: language teaching/conversation.
Regarding this, we had some exchanges; you performed tasks like washing dishes, cooking, and cleaning the house. I've already changed some things I noticed with you so that it doesn't happen to other future volunteers, like task list and plan since our schedules didn't match, me being a morning person and you being more active people in the afternoon/evening.
