This experience will completely change your perspective of life. Since the moment I arrive into the place you could completely feel the warmth, calm and love from the people here in the temple. Everybody made me feel as I was at home even without being Buddhist or knowing Portuguese at all. I can really say I made a new family. If you really want to make an improvement in your life or feel a bit lost, this program is perfect for you. I hope more people can have the opportunity to come and join this community as I'm sure you will have a radical change in your life's perspective.

My experience at the temple the organization exceeded all my expectations. I felt at home from the minute I arrived. Being there was like being part of a big family and it was a real privilege for me to collaborate with the team by sharing ideas and creating content for such a beautiful community. This experience was one of the best of my life. I have not only found a friendly and lovely community, I have found a new family. The job hours were 6 (if I finished my daily job I could take off early) and the activities were not hard (I was a housekeeper). Highly recommended.

I'm sure it's not possible to write in these lines how transformative this experience was for me. Drica, the first person I contacted via whatsapp, picked me up and I went to the train station, she is a beautiful person and an inspiring woman. I was welcomed with open arms by everyone at the organization center and I learned a lot from the courses and meditation practices, but also from my first real experience with sangha. Ir al Templo fue una experiencia inolvidable; el lugar es maravilloso, transmite una energía especial, pero lo que realmente lo hace único son las personas, siempre amables y acogedoras, que te hacen sentir como en casa. Este fue mi primer voluntariado. Fue el lugar perfecto. Me parece cliché cuando los viajeros dicen que al final no quieren irse, pero entiendo por qué lo dicen. Esto fue así para mí. Encontré ahí a algunas de las personas más dulces que he conocido, tuve algunas de las conversasiones más trascendentales de mi vida, fui más hondo en mi comprensión de la espiritualidad y terminé absolutamente enamorado de esta región de Portugal. Hice algunos vínculos tan hondos, pude apoyar trabajando mientras tenía la sensación de que cada pequeña labor tendría un profundo significado. Lo recomiendo muchísimo.
