The experience

The main tasks will be helping with light daily housework such as tidying up, organizing, doing laundry, and simple cleaning. In addition, if there are no scheduled online English lessons, we might occasionally ask for help with casual English conversation practice. Overall, the help is light and flexible.

What you offer

6 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 20 and 50 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Activities & Shift

Yes, we expect around 5 hours of help per weekday. The schedule is usually flexible and can be adjusted depending on both your and our needs. Weekends are generally free unless we agree otherwise.

Rules

We expect a friendly, respectful, and responsible person who can help around the house and is open to simple, fun language practice sessions if needed. It’s important that you enjoy being part of a relaxed and positive family atmosphere.
