Youโ€™ll help teach children, engage in creative community projects like pottery and Maasai beadwork, and explore local traditions and nature. From learning survival Swahili ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ to climbing small hills, visiting a nearby zoo, and tasting local food and drinks โ€” every day is a new adventure.

What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 20 Per day

Fee pays for: Materials for volunteer activities

Description: Volunteers contribute 20 USD for dinner and excursions


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Intermediate English or Beginner Swahili

Between 20 and 55 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Activities & Shift

Youโ€™ll be involved in a variety of enriching activities including:

๐ŸŽ’ Cultural exchange: learn & teach survival Swahili, share your traditions

๐Ÿฅพ Guided walks, hill hikes, zoo visits and trips to a Maasai village

Shifts are flexible, with time for fun, exploration, and rest. Expect to volunteer around 3โ€“4 hours per day, 5 days a week.
