The experience

You’ll help teach children, engage in creative community projects like pottery and Maasai beadwork, and explore local traditions and nature. From learning survival Swahili 🗣️ to climbing small hills, visiting a nearby zoo, and tasting local food and drinks — every day is a new adventure.

What you offer
18 hours of help per week
Child Care:
Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Teaching Sports:
Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Description:
Volunteers contribute 20 USD for dinner and excursions
What you get

Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Program Details

Activities & Shift
You’ll be involved in a variety of enriching activities including:
🧒 Teaching children (basic subjects, games, creativity)
🧵 Participating in community work like pottery and Maasai crafts
🌱 Afforestation and environmental projects
🎒 Cultural exchange: learn & teach survival Swahili, share your traditions
🥾 Guided walks, hill hikes, zoo visits and trips to a Maasai village
Shifts are flexible, with time for fun, exploration, and rest. Expect to volunteer around 3–4 hours per day, 5 days a week.
