The experience

Hi Worldpackers!

We are a group of friends, that have guest houses in Sfantu Gheorghe, Danube Delta. Our kids (6,7,9 ,9 and 10) are students in a German school and we would love them to practice their language over the summer. You can be as structured or as free as you want in doing this: lessons and activities or just a fun day at the beach.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Fluent German

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

You will spend time with the kids in the mornings, 4-5 hours. Go to the beach, play sports, go on boat trips, you can also organise lessons, but generally we would love for you to focus on the spoken language and encourage them to speak fluently.
We can provide whatever materials you need, just let us know in advance!


Activities & Shift

You will be working 4-5 days a week 4-5 hours a day


Rules

Be kind, be positive and cheerful, have patience but be firm when needed. Keep quiet when in your room in the evening as your accommodation is right next to the guest rooms.
