Permaculture Food Forest in Brittany, France
The experience
Phil's passionate dedication to 'Permaculture' principles over the last 30 years has transformed an old 6 hectare farm into a mature ecosystem, with ponds, streams and woodland.
Your help is needed to maintain and develop this forest garden using syntropic and regenerative techniques.
We generally work a few hours either side of a fairly long lunch, our evenings are often spent chatting and playing games around the dining table.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Get free drinks or beverages.:
Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
Requirements
Fluent English or Fluent French
Between 19 and 55 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
Program Details
In return for good food and lodgings, we expect motivated, physical help and a flexible approach to tasks that need doing.
Phil is always willing to discuss the principles behind everything that is done here.
Activities & Shift
Help yourselves to breakfast, ready for the off at 9h00, reasonably long lunchtime and finish around 17h.
Tasks could include weeding, mulching, woodcutting/stacking, planting.......
Rules
From experience we'd like to limit mobile phone use at the table and everyone should leave the accomodation in a clean and tidy state for the next volunteers.
