ABOUT US: We love to connect with different cultures & for our kids to meet new people. Before settling, we both spent many years travelling & working around the world. Laura spent a couple of years as a WWOOF volunteer so can appreciate the experience from your point of view! Lawson was a Couch Surfing & WWOOF host for many years before hosting HelpX here since 2018. We live in a vibrant local community with art, wellness & music events. We'll tell you about beaches & tranquil rivers to play in, majestic forests with walking tracks & bike trails, awesome surf, caves & of course world-class wineries, breweries & restaurants.

WE OFFER YOU: * Comfortable & private accommodation in a caravan with a double bed (good for singles, couples or close friends). Please let us know if you prefer to stay in your own van! Bathroom, kitchen & laundry facilities are in our adjacent farm shop which is a shared public space during the day & you'll usually have it to yourselves in the evenings.
* All meals on a self-catering & shared with the family basis. We enjoy an ethically sourced, whole-food mixed diet including pasture-raised eggs & organic meat, home-grown veges, fresh raw milk & biodynamic sourdough bread. Please note, our farm will not suit folks with vegan or Coeliac diets.
* Knowledge exchange - we love to share! We welcome you to borrow from our library of resources. Where possible, we will include you in any workshops or farm tours we are running when you're here.
* There is full Telstra signal here so you can buy your own pay-as-you-go mobile WIFI data (we use Boost). Optus signal is not good.

WHAT WE ASK IN RETURN: 4 hours help for each night every visitor stays (except arrival & departure days!). We can usually be flexible on time of most tasks.

Rules

Sadly from other platforms we've had several 'no shows' (helpers that book but do not arrive). When you make a booking with us, our family will have made preparations & plans for your stay. We understand that life happens, but please only book with our family farm if you intend to honour your commitment & keep us updated if things change. Thanks for your understanding.

We look forward to hearing from you, please feel free to ask us any questions... & in the meantime we wish you happy travels!

Cheers, Laura & Lawson
