The experience
Are you passionate about Baseball5 and eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of talented but vulnerable children? Our Dodgeball activity at Kakuma Refugee Camp is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Instructor to help nurture and develop the skills of both boys and girls under 16 years old. This is an extraordinary opportunity to support young athletes who are brimming with potential but lack the resources to reach their goals.
What you offer
18 hours of help per week
Teaching Sports:
Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.
What you get
2 days off per week
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Free Tours:
We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!
Certificate:
Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.
Fast Internet Access:
High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details
As a Volunteer Instructor, you will work directly with boys and girls under 17 years old, helping to develop their Baseball5 skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Your involvement will not only enhance their athletic abilities but also contribute positively to their emotional and social development.
Responsibilities
1. Coaching and Training:
- Plan and deliver engaging training sessions that cater to various skill levels.
- Teach fundamental techniques, game strategies, and sportsmanship values.
2. Mentorship:
- Serve as a positive role model, offering guidance and support to young athletes.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
Activities & Shift
From Monday to Friday except Wednesday
-Morning shift: From 8am to 10 am
- Evening shift: From 3:30pm t0 5:30pm.
