At Mawun Valley Farm, nestled in the tranquil landscapes of Lombok, we offer a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the principles of slow living. If you appreciate a slower pace, connection with nature, and meaningful interactions, join our community and experience the rewarding simplicity of farm life.


What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 21 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: The fee directly supports the ongoing operations and development of our new community-based project, our sole income source. Your vital contribution also covers your accommodation, meals, hands-on permaculture workshops with our farmers, and all related materials. Thank you for being part of our community's growth.


What you get

Program Details

Our slow living ethos extends beyond the practical tasks of the farm. You'll be encouraged to savor simple moments: enjoying a quiet breakfast, lunch and dinner with fresh, farm-sourced ingredients, taking leisurely walks through the gardens, and observing the beauty of the Lombok sunsets. Evenings might include relaxed gatherings under the stars, sharing stories and connecting with fellow travelers and our local team.

Activities & Shift

- Hands-on Permaculture Learning: Hands-on training on activities related to soil management, composting, planting, harvesting, and garden maintenance.

- Farm Development Training: Hands-on training on activities like starting, and operating a sustainable farm.

- Community Engagement Training: Experience sharing on community projects and workshops, fostering cultural exchange.

- Animal Care Training: Hands-on training on animal care, such as goats and ducks.

- Creative Projects Training: Hands-on skills development on farm projects, from art installations, woodworking, and more.

- Daily Training Schedule: Expect to spend approximately 4-5 hours per day, 5 days per week. Flexibility is possible, depending on individual needs.
