Gerti is a very respectful, relaxed, and engaged host. the hotel is relatively new and located about a 10 minute drive from the city. While the area is still developing with more hotels being built nearby, there are a few beaches within walking distance. Volunteers are expected to assist at the reception, during breakfast service by restocking food and clearing plates, and in the hotel restaurant with tasks similar to those of a waiter. The work can occasionally be demanding, but overall it is fair. The staff are extremely friendly, and our overall experience was positive.

I had an amazing experience at the hotel and highly recommend it to anyone considering it. Gerti and his family are wonderful, as were the other volunteers—I truly miss the friends I made there! The hotel is just minutes from the beach and you will have plenty of time to enjoy it. Thank you Gerti for giving me the opportunity to join your team, I hope to see you all again one day!

We had a lot of fun staying with Gerti. We had to terminate our stay early due to a family emergency, but we felt a lot of understanding and the talking with Gerti is very easy and interesting. The offer was very honest and everyone was really friendly with us. We had a nice accommodation in a hotel room and access to the hotel breakfast. The tasks can be challenging at times but Gerti didn't put any pressure on us and was generally very kind and understanding. The atmosphere in general was nice. The hotel was close to the beach where we could chill in our free time.

What an experience. Gurti has been a wonderful host from start to finish. All the staff were amazing people, and working with them was enjoyable. Whenever i needed to travel around, needed advices or tips Gurti was here for me and the rest of the team. The surroundings are beautiful and exploring is accessible easily. I will deeply miss everyone i met there, i really feel lucky to have lived such a beautiful experience.

It was a very nice experience to do volunteer work in the hotel. The job was super easy at the reception, the tasks were clearly explained. The shared room with other volunteer mates was comfortable. Beaches, shops and restaurants were close in walking distance. In our free time, we had plenty of time to discover the surrounding, we even went on a speed boat trip and rented a car to visit the wonderful cities on the south. I am grateful to meet such nice people from around the world, and happy that I could practice English with native speakers.

The hotel is perfect if you're looking for a very relaxed experience. Most days were work, beach and yoga. The location is perfect for a relaxed vibe as it is a little out of town but easy to manage by bus or can always hitch a ride with Gerti if the timing works. The accom is basic. What made it was working with the team. They made you feel so welcomed and appreciated. The work is very manageable and someone is always around to help. Hours were always respected and Gerti even helped me out a couple times to accomodate my schedule. I already miss the hotel family <3

Volunteering here was a dream. The property is stunning, the work enjoyable, and the host went above and beyond—offering rides into town, sharing local gems, and creating space for deep conversations about Albanian history, politics, and anthropology. He even gave me the chance to test a business idea, and offered insight and empowerment on that journey which meant so much. Making connections with other volunteers was an absolute highlight as well. This experience made Vlorë feel like home, and I'll always be grateful for the time spent here.

This is the best volunteering experience I have done! The host Geriti is incredible, he treats his volunteers as his family<3 The hotel in itself is beautiful and the rooftop bar is incredible during sunset! The accomodation is a hotel room shared with another volunteer, and the food is really good. The other volunteers are incredible and the local staff is always trying to make you feel welcomed and at home<3 i highly recommend this place, and I will definitly be back<3

The hotel is the perfect experience for first time travellers to get a taste of what volunteering is like. Gerti is a lovely host, he will respect your time - The reception hours are 8am-12pm or 12pm-4pm, so you will get lots of time to explore the local area. I am really happy that I was able to build on my social media and photography skills and I helped with social media and refreshing all of the website photos and hotel room photos during my time here. The other volunteers were so lovely & even the local staff team members are welcoming here. I 100% recommend- Rooms are comfy too
